About Orcs
Orcs are one of the oldest peoples of Tymora, known for their endurance, adaptability, and fierce sense of community. Though outsiders often separate them into Orcs and Goblins based on size and stature, they see themselves as a single people, united by shared ancestry, traditions, and a long history of survival.
Across the world, Orcs can be found in bustling cities, remote wildernesses, and everything in between. Some have embraced settled life, becoming craftsmen, soldiers, merchants, scholars, and leaders, while others continue the ancient traditions of roaming clans and warbands. Regardless of where they come from, Orcs value strength, loyalty, perseverance, and the ability to overcome adversity.

Cultures
Orc cultures are shaped by their views on civilization, tradition, and freedom. While all Orcs share common roots, their way of life can differ greatly depending on whether they embrace the comforts of settled society or the hardships of the wilderness.
Civilised Orcs have embraced life within kingdoms, cities, and established societies. They can be found working as soldiers, craftsmen, merchants, scholars, sailors, and leaders, earning respect through skill, dedication, and perseverance. Though integrated into wider society, they still maintain strong traditions of loyalty, resilience, and pride in their heritage.
Wilder Orcs follow the ancient ways of their ancestors, living as nomads, hunters, warriors, and survivalists. They roam the wild places of Tymora in clans and warbands, valuing freedom, self-reliance, reputation, and strength. While outsiders often see them as primitive, Wilder Orcs view themselves as guardians of traditions that civilization has forgotten.
