Character Experience and Rewards
As you attend games and events, your character will earn Experience Points (XP), Reputation, Coin, and other rewards.
These rewards represent your character's growing influence, wealth, and accomplishments within the world of Wizards and Warlords.
Weekly Games and Rewards
Each week, one or more Companies are selected to undertake missions on behalf of their Benefactors. These missions may place Companies in direct competition, pit players against NPC forces, or involve multiple groups competing for the same objective.
Regardless of the mission format, rewards are distributed based on the outcome of the game.
Winning Side
All players on the winning side receive:
- 2 Reputation
- 2 Copper Coins
The winning Company also receives:
- 5 Company Reputation
This includes any Mercenaries hired by the Company for that mission.
Losing Side
All players on the losing side receive:
- 1 Reputation
- 1 Copper Coin
This includes any Mercenaries hired by the Company for that mission.
Draws
If a mission ends in a draw, all sides are treated as losing sides and receive the standard losing rewards.
Special Rewards
Some missions may offer additional rewards beyond Reputation and Coin. These can include treasure, rare items, favours, hidden knowledge, or other story rewards.
These rewards are not always guaranteed and may require players to uncover hidden objectives, take greater risks, or make important choices during play.
Experience Points (XP)
Experience Points represent your character's growth and development through play.
XP is tracked per character, not per player. If you have multiple characters, only the character you play for that event receives XP for attending.
This means that each character earns and spends their own XP separately. If you regularly switch between characters, each character will progress at their own pace.
Saving and Transferring XP
- XP remains with a character until it is spent.
- Unspent XP is not lost and may be saved indefinitely.
- XP cannot be traded, gifted, or transferred between players.
- XP cannot be transferred between characters.
- The only exception is through Character Retirement and Consolidation.

Skill Points are used to purchase character skills.
These skills represent additional training, talents, or abilities your character develops through play.
