XP is used to develop your character over time. As your character gains XP, they may spend it to improve their abilities and skills by buying '''Character Points'''.

* '''Spell Points''' - Used to learn new spells or upgrade existing spells.
* '''Skill Points''' - Used to learn additional training, talents, or abilities to improve your character's skills.

Additional notes about '''Character Points''':

* Purchased '''Spell and Skill Points''' may be saved until the player is ready to spend them.
* Once purchased, '''Skill Points''' and '''Spell Points''' cannot be converted back into XP or exchanged for one another.
